Important Announcement: New Beginnings

Dear Community,

I hope this message finds you well. I am writing to share some exciting updates and a personal announcement that marks a new chapter for our decentralized exchange and myself.

Firstly, I am thrilled to announce that governance is is live on all chains: Avalanche, Flare, Songbird, and Hedera. While the team diligently runs our final testing on Flare, Songbird and Hedera, they should be live any day now.

This is a significant milestone in our journey towards complete decentralization and a testament to our commitment to empowering our community. With this update, you, our valued community members, will have a direct say in the future direction and decision-making of the exchange. This is a crucial step in ensuring that our platform remains by the community, for the community.

All tokens held by the team will be transferred into governance. In the original litepapers for Hedera, Songbird and Flare there was a team allocation. The entire team has sacrificed their team tokens and will be also transferring those back into the Governance smart contracts. We will release a report in the next few weeks with total treasury holdings across all networks Pangolin is deployed on. I believe it’s a healthy amount to keep the DEX in good shape over the coming year.

Now, onto the personal announcement. As part of our ongoing efforts to further decentralize and give ownership back to the community, I will be stepping away from my current role to embark on a new adventure. This decision has not been made lightly, but I believe it is the right move for the continued growth and decentralization of our exchange.

While this marks a new chapter for me, I want to assure you that I am not leaving the exchange behind. I will be providing support to the DEX for the next few months to aid in the transition and ensure a smooth handover. I am committed to doing everything I can to set the exchange up for continued success.

I want to take this opportunity to express my deepest gratitude to each and every one of you. Your support, dedication, and belief in our mission have been instrumental in getting us to where we are today. I am confident that with governance now live on all chains, the exchange is in a strong position to continue thriving and innovating.
